Homer Davis graduated from the University of Massachusetts ('66) majoring in Business/Economics. He was a ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate and served 20 years in the U.S. Army retiring in 1986 as a Lieutenant Colonel. During his military career, LTC Davis was selected to attend the Command and General Staff School at Ft. Leavenworth ('79) and later appointed as the Comptroller and Finance Officer of the 2nd Armored Division at Ft. Hood ('82).
In 1986, Homer gained his General Securities License and became a Registered Representative and broker with Paine Webber. He later worked as a Personal Financial Planner for American Express Financial Services. In 1992, Homer became an independent Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He is a registered securities principal and branch manager with Foothill Securities, Inc., a registered broker/dealer, member FINRA/SIPC. Homer is fully licensed in securities and life/health insurance and has lectured extensively through educational seminars on investments and retirement planning. He offers personal counseling for clients in portfolio investments, retirement planning and estate planning. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association and the FINRA’s Board of Arbitrators.
My goal is to offer an independent advisory service with a fiduciary relationship to my clients. My primary focus is to provide appropriate investment and retirement counseling to help my clients meet their long-term financial goals. I am fully licensed in securities and life/health insurance and have lectured extensively through educational seminars on investments and retirement planning.
Homer resides in Cupertino with his wife, Roslyn and his son Richard. He is an active tennis player and jogger.
